Walk-up Kiosk System
The Indus 5002C-TST Walk-up Kiosk System is a book scanning system with Touch Screen Technology for easy use by library patrons who intend to scan or copy pages from bound books or periodicals. It allows patrons to save the scanned images to a network drive, USB flash disk, print to a printer or send via email, all with the software used with the touch screen monitor. The system is built on a rugged steel and laminated workstation. The system includes a pre-installed computer that is ready to use. No dedicated PC required.

Specifications:
- Scanner area up to 17" x 24"
- Scanner is mounted on a workstation with adjustable legs suitable for setting height to support Book Scanner, Touch Screen Monitor, and built-in computer.
- Scanner supports Books with thickness up to 7.8" with auto-focus.
- Scanner has remote diagnostics capability using Scanners "IP Address" for use by vendor for diagnostics from vendor location.
Scanning controls are available from the Touch Screen Monitor as listed:
- Start and end button to start or end a batch from the touch screen monitor
- Scanned images appear on the touch screen monitor
- Touch to delete area of image
- Touch to zoom
- Touch to eliminate unwanted areas of scan

- Touch to save to USB memory stick

- Selectable scan modes: bi-tonal, 8-bit grayscale and color, and 24 bit color.
- Automatic and manual border/edge masking
- Scan selections of left or right side only, both sides split or single image

- Adjustments on scanner for brightness and contrast
- Batch scanning
- Transfer of batch images to destination drive/folder, USB Thumb drive, or Email using "MAPI" interface included with capture software for auto attachment of images to email using Microsoft Outlook, Exchange and SMTP-E-Mail
