We purchased the Indus 9000 book scanner the summer of 2013 after reviewing three other scanners of similar size. The reasons we chose the 9000 were for its larger scanning surface, its scanning resolution and speed, its lower purchase price, and the sales representative’s excellent customer service.
The scanner has performed well and allowed us to digitize many documents in our archives. The scanner is easy to use and has required very little maintenance. Customer Service has continued to be very good the few times we called on them. The few issues/questions we’ve had have been dealt with in a very timely manner.
We would recommend this scanner for other digitizing needs that a library or archives center might have.
